General Terms of Service

• The client must arrange the necessary parking space and obtain any required permits from the municipality. Failing this, the client remains responsible for any resulting costs or administrative/criminal fines.
• Payment is made in cash or before the operator arrives, unless otherwise agreed. Billed time stops running once final payment is made.
• Cancellation on the day of the intervention incurs a fee of 50% of the total amount.
• The client must ensure that the surface on which the furniture lift will be placed is solid and suitable for the operation. GirafeLift accepts no liability for damage resulting from an unsuitable surface.
• The client is responsible for protecting and packing their personal belongings before the intervention. Failing this, GirafeLift accepts no liability for any resulting damage.
• Both parties agree to respect the reserved time slot. Once it has elapsed, the operator may leave the premises; the client must then pay immediately and may book a new time slot if needed.
• Using a furniture lift requires at least 4 people: 2 inside the building and 2 outside.
• Our services are billed by the full hour: any hour started on site is billed in full.
• The operator is present solely to operate the furniture lift. Any additional assistance (carrying, handling) is billed at the applicable hourly labour rate.

All content on this site (text, images, logo) is the property of GirafeLift, unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without prior authorization.

Data protection

Information submitted via the contact form (name, email, phone) is used solely to process your quote request and carry out the requested service. It is never resold or shared with third parties, and is kept for a maximum of 3 years. In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data at any time by contacting us at info@girafelift.be.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and all GirafeLift services are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
